    Oh well it caught up with me…I have cheated the last two days…I was really craving some beans the other day at the grocery store…I bought a small bag of light red beans, but then I also bought a bag of long cook brown rice…I have been reading a book called “perfect weight America” & it was talking about beans & brown rice & how they are good for you…So my brain said let’s cook some red bean & rice…I did it in the crock pot…I really like cooking in the crock pot…I did my beans for about 3 hours & then added a cup of rice…& let it cook…I had to leave about an hour later & I checked them to see if they were ready to be turned down…I didn’t think there was enough rice with the beans so I added another cup of rice…(2 cups now)…Put the crock on low & left…I came home about 3 hours later & all the water was gone…I was afraid that maybe it had burned but it turned out it was perfect…The only thing was there was a ton of it…The crock was completely full of red beans & rice…I cooked it with my usual spices…Cajun, garli, cayenne, red chili & I put in some dried onion…O my gosh…It was so good…I said all that to say this…I had a big bowl of the stuff two days in a row…I know for a fact I was over 500 calories by far…So when I stepped on the scales this morning it said 276.6that is like almost 3 pound since yesterday…Wow…today there will be NO RED BEANS & RICE…lol…I am having cabbage with Jalapenos & onion…with my roast I made the other day…I think it will be much better for my diet anyway…That’s all for today…

  1. he he, sucks you gained, but sounds like it was damn good.

    I broke my diet Saturday for the first time for Arts bachelor party.

    One drink, mixed bourbon port cane syrup egg-yolk and cream. Tasted like eggnog, and was delicious. then had a chicken and shrimp kebab at a steak house.
    Gained 0.6 pounds, so not too bad.

  2. Well I have been on this for 26 days and as of 22 days I had lost 21 lbs I weigh myself twice a week and tomorrow is the end of my week. I’ve held on and not cheated at all. Almost a couple times but thought about my goal : ) good luck. And thanks Kenny for introducing me to this.

Man that drink sounds good…Too bad I can’t do that kind of stuff…But I don’t really miss it…But it still sounds good…The shrimp sounds wonderful too…Diets are for results but they are not LAW…Sometimes you got to take a break but then get right back on the diet & back to results…Take care thanks for the comment…

That’s great Shawna…I am so proud of you for sticking to the diet…That’s the way we get results…Have you noticed the different way to eat now…Since I started the diet last year I don’t eat anything that comes out of a boxc anymore…Nothing prepackaged…I feel much better about it too..Thanks for the comment keep it up…Kenney
